Working principle:

 

Ultrasonic open channel flowmeter consists of two parts: an instrument for measuring liquid level and a water tank made according to the documents published by the Institute of Metrology. The liquid level meter directly measures the liquid height in the channel or water tank, converts the flow size into liquid level through the water measuring weir installed on the open channel, and then calculates the flow according to the water level-flow relationship of the corresponding water measuring weir.
