SBW Series Temperature Transmitter
SBW temperature transmitter for thermocouple and thermal resistance is on-the-spot installed temperature transmitter unit in match with industrial thermocouple, thermal resistance among DDZ series of instruments. With adoption of 2-wire system for transmission (Two pieces of wire are used as public transmission wire for power input and signal output.) it transforms signal of industrial thermocouple, thermal resistance into output signal of 4~20mA, 0~10mA in linear relation with input signal or temperature signal.
The transmitter could be directly mounted inside junction box of thermocouple, thermal resistance forming integral structure. As temperature-measuring instrument of new generation, it could be widely used in metallurgy, petroleum, chemical, power, light industry, textile, foodstuff, national defense, and scientific research fields, etc.
Main Features
Silica rubber or epoxy resin sealing structure, shock & moisture-proof, suitable with bad environment.
On-the –spot installation inside junction box of thermocouple, thermal resistance, with output signal of 4~20mA, 0~10mA; it could save expensive cost on compensational wire and improve interference-resistant performance during long-range signal transmission process.
The transmitter for thermocouple has automatic temperature compensation function at cold end.
High accuracy and lower power consumption, wide temperature range for application, stable and reliable operation.
Wide application, it could be installed on the spot with thermocouple or thermal resistance to form integral structure, or installed in testing device or with instrument dial as functional block.
Intellectual temperature transmitter could be used to communicate with upper device through Modem base on HART agreement or conduct remote information management, configuration, variable supervision, rectification, maintenance of type, graduation, and measuring range of transmitter with handle device and PC.
Display direction of intellectual temperature transmitter could be adjusted as user actual demand, and medium temperature, sensor value change, output current and percentage tested with the transmitter could also be displayed.
Operation Theory
Thermocouple or thermal resistance transforms tested temperature into electric signal and sends the signal into transmitter input network which includes concerned circuits with zero setting and thermocouple compensation. After zero setting, the signal is input into calculation amplifier for signal amplification. The amplified signal is processed through V/1 switch with output of D.C. 4~20mA on one path, and processed through A/D switch and displayed on instrument head on another path. There are two kinds of linear circuits of feedback way. Direct feedback rectification is for thermal resistance, and multi broken line approach rectification is for thermocouple, There are two kinds of display for integral digital display temperature transmitter, 2-wire system output for LCD, and 3-wire system output for LED.

Input Signal: Thermocouple: Thermal Resistance: (3 wire system, 4 wire system) input signal of intellectual temperature transmitter could be freely set with PC or handle device.
Output Signal : D.C.4~20mA signal output within measuring range in linear relation with input signal of thermocouple, thermal resistance or with temperature; Intellectual Temperature Transmitter Output: D.C.4~20mA signal plus communication signal based on HART agreement;
Input is separated from output for separation type temperature transmitter and separation voltage is 0.5KV. It improves common mode interference-resisting performance and is more suitable with usage for computer network.

Display: 4 digits LCD of temperature on the spot; The user may set 4 digits LCD of intellectual transmitter with PC or handle device to make it display on the spot any parameter of temperature, sensor value, output current or percentage.

System Connection


Rectifying Method
Please pay attention to explosion-proof mark and protection class for application in environment with explosion danger.
Ambient temperature for installation of mechanical & electronic integration temperature transmitter shall be -20℃~70℃. If ambient temperature is too high, please separate SBW signal switch and display block from thermocouple and thermal resistance in installation, (We supply special explosion-proof box for mounting separately temperature transmitter.)
The user should confirm correct connection before supplying power. Otherwise it might lead to unexpected results.
We poured epoxy resin into SBW signal switch and display meter block to solidify them to improve shock-resistant, moisture-proof, and corrosion-resistant performance.
Please rectify temperature transmitter and display meter again 6 mouths later after putting into usage.
Rectifying Method of temperature transmitter for thermal Resistance
Devices: one set of digital voltmeter
Please conduct wiring according to system connection method.
Please input relevant potential value according to stipulated sensor and measuring range on nameplate of temperature transmitter to get respectively output 1V and 5V ( set respectively potentiometers for zero point and full range point).
Please input relevant potential value at each point of 10 equal divisions of measuring range to check whether each output meets with accuracy demand.
Test shall be conducted according to technical indices on user’s manual, and test results shall meet with technical demands.
